Clinton Professional Workshops for 2012-13 – Free workshops for teachers of children 0 through 6 years.  This year’s theme: Cognitive Development

Mind in the Making : The Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs – Jan 15 (snow Jan 22) 6 pm Board of Ed room, Joel Based on the book by Ellen Gallinsky,

6:00 to 6:20 – registration and light supper, program begins at 6:20.  REGISTRATION is required for this event

Professionals from Best Beginnings, Joel School, and Henry Carter Hull Library will give ideas on promoting the Seven Essential Life Skills : Focus and Self Control, Perspective Taking, Communication, Making Connections, Critical Thinking, Taking on Challenges and Self-Directed, Engaged Learning.  This workshop is for teachers who work with young children, but any interested parent may attend.
